Our Mission

Our aim is to show how pharmacists can help in a community. Money raised by The PharmAssists' Project goes back into primary needs in the community such as food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education.

Who We Help

MammaKind - £719 Donated

Purchasing two cot beds, 48 pots of sudocrem, 29 bottles of shampoo for babies, 72 bottles of shampoo for mothers to ensure that families can maintain hygiene if in need.

Sutton MenCap - £432 Donated

Purchasing a soft sofa to be used in the soft play and sensory room to support the needs of people with learning disabilities.
​

A R Projects - £1000 Donated

Sponsoring 4 x weekly soup kitchen sessions in Croydon to give food and drinks to the homeless in the local area.
​

Croydon Refugee Day Centre - £568 Donated

Purchasing 10 waterproof pairs of shoes, 13 hats and 6 coats for a day centre to be given to refugees in need of warm clothing.

Sutton Carers Centre - £3245 Donated

Purchasing 5 laptops to a young carers homework club so that children could use a computer to do their homework freely instead of using their phones.

Sutton Community Works - £1024 Donated

Purchasing 2 washing machines, one gifted to a family in need, and one used alongside washing products in a church where homeless people can wash their clothes.

Sutton Street Pastors - £401 Donated

Purchasing 10 mobile phones and 10 power banks so that people sleeping on the streets could contact emergency services when needed.

Stripey Stork - £510 Donated

Purchasing 10 scientific calculators, 34 notebooks, 108 polo shirts and 22 trousers for school children in need of new equipment or school clothes.
 

Sutton Night Watch Charity - £472 Donated

Purchasing 229 portions of tinned meals or bags of rice so that the charity can distribute them to homeless people in need of a meal.

Sutton Night Watch Charity - £510 Donated

Purchasing 16 winter coats to be handed out to homeless people to stay warm in the cold winter months.

Sutton Night Watch Charity - £594 Donated

Purchasing 36,300 tea bags which gives the charity a 6-month supply of tea to hand out to homeless people in need of a hot drink.

Stripey Stork - £790 Donated

Purchasing 10 cots with mattresses so that people who can not afford a cot can have somewhere safe and comfortable for their baby to sleep in.

Crisis Homeless Charity - £138 Donated

Purchasing 23 towels so that homeless people can shower in the community shower and have access to clean towels.

Purchasing hygiene products and warmer clothing for homeless people to use and wear during the winter months.
 

Sutton Community Works - £210 Donated

Purchasing 30 blankets to be given away in the winter months to families who may not be able to properly heat their homes due to the costs of energy.

Purchasing food and toiletries for the Sutton Foodbank, supplying them with

products that they were in short supply

Paying for three months salary for a teacher in Uganda

helping children with disabilities living in extreme poverty.

Purchased 30 midwives' birth kits, 14 hygiene kits and 4 school-in-a-big kits.

Action for Children - £200 Donated

Full school uniform, an emergency food package for a family in crisis, a family's gas and electric bills for a week and a soft toy.

These funds went towards purchasing 417 water purification tablets and 294 food paste sachets.

Building a micro-dam in Mali providing clean water to a family as well as planting a tree.
